Summary: The Property Tax Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying new opportunities, qualifying prospects and setting meetings through an outbound call program.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Meeting and/or exceeding annual goals as set by the Director of Sales. These goals include new accounts, meetings, and activity levels.
- Provide daily and weekly reports of activity and meetings set.
- Assist with the scheduling of meetings, participation in various shows and other support functions.
- Initiate action plans to approach and secure new property tax business for the Company.
- Effectively use prospecting tools such as Hoovers, news articles, outside observations, etc. to uncover new opportunities
- Follow prospecting call cycle and methodology to build client relationships and develop new opportunities, and document in CSM database.
- Assist in developing and growing the property tax sales pipeline in order to achieve company's sales and gross profit goals.
- Assist with client meetings and account follow up.
Qualifications:
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Excellent telephone communication and follow up skills.
- Understands the importance of setting and surpassing goals
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Excellent understanding of prospecting skills
- High attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Two - Four Year Degree in Business (Business Related Field) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and CSM tools
- Successful background in telephone sales or lead generation
