Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer Analysts assists with designing, installing and configuring server infrastructures, planning and implementing enterprise technology infrastructures, designing network security and developing operations solutions to manage Microsoft and multi-vendor environments. They consult with the company's Fortune 500 customers, using Microsoft technology to maximize existing IT investments and streamline management processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Network protocols/services and Network infrastructures
- Experience with Windows Server
- Knowledge of Non-Microsoft platforms (Novell, Unix, Linux, Macintosh, AS/400, mainframe)
- Some knowledge of Internet application architecture (HTML, XML, IIS, Commerce Server)
- Some knowledge of Application development (Visual Basic, Visual C++, visual J++, Visual InterDev)
- Knowledge of BackOffice services experience (Exchange, SQL Server, Host Integration Server)
- Knowledge of security technologies and services
- Ability to travel 80% of the time to the customer location
- Strong customer service skills, verbal/written communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3.0 overall GPA
- Previous work or internship experience
- Extracurricular/leadership activities
